EMERGENCE OF ICT AND NANOTECHNOLOGY AMONG ACADEMIC LIBRARIES: FROM STOREHOUSE TO POWERHOUSE

Abstract


The ICT has changed shaped information seekers life and accelerated the
process of knowledge access which in turn makes them more affable with the
surrounding world and each sentinel of our technical advancement will be
ushering our vibes of a good standard of life. Nowadays academic libraries are
experiencing significant transformations to achieve the user expectations and to
support the information needs of users in digital environment. The authors
investigate and discuss how the development of ICT products influences the
information seeking and retrieval process.
